« Josh, I still can’t believe we’re here. After almost ten years of knowing you - serving together, growing in faith, and walking through seasons of both joy and hardship - I see God’s hand in every step that brought us here.

I always thought you’d end up with a Filipina. You just embraced the culture so naturally, and the titas loved you right away.

I just didn’t think that Filipina would be me.

From the beginning, I felt safe and comfortable around you, enough to show a little of my crazy side.

And through every season - countless hours of serving together, navigating healing and uncertainty - you have always been constant.

I’ve watched you love others so selflessly. You serve without seeking recognition. You listen with patience and lead with humility.

You’ve loved my family like they were your own, and that alone has been an answered prayer.

I’ve seen how you pursue truth—even when it’s hard. You let me speak, even when I’m being stubborn, and you gently point me back to what’s right. When I look at the way you love me, I see Christ. I don’t deserve this kind of grace, but I receive it as God’s goodness in my life.

You are above and beyond what I ever prayed for in a husband. I asked for a strong leader—and God redefined that through you. He showed me that true strength is found in humility, and that the greatest among us is the one who serves.
